All the news 27.01.2010  New partnerships for two Festival Prizes

From 2010 Swiss Life, who have until now supported the Festival Retrospective, becomes the new partner for the Leopards of Tomorrow. Continuing its commitment to Swiss cinema, the group will sponsor the Locarno Festival’s “Pardino d’oro for the Best Swiss Short Film - Swiss Life Prize”.

The George Foundation, which last year inaugurated a partnership with the Festival by funding the “Pardino d’oro for the Best Swiss Short Film”, will henceforth support the Filmmakers of the Present Competition. The “Golden Leopard Filmmakers of the Present – George Foundation Prize” will go to the best film of this competition, dedicated to first or second features.

The 63rd edition of the Locarno International Film Festival will take place 4 - 14 August, 2010.
