laRotonda 2018 will be back with an exciting new set-up, offering a rich variety of culinary stalls and merchandise from all over the world, DJ sets and live gigs and various other entertainments. Like last year the program of laRotonda will open its doors on July 27th, prior to the Locarno Festival. With its lively spirit, laRotonda will enrich the Festival evenings until Sunday, August 12th.

The upcoming edition of the laRotonda, part of the 71th Locarno Festival, will offer a renewed form of entertainment: A restructured location, aimed to enhance the great variety of contents and to offer visitors an even more engaging experience, suitable for a diverse audience.

In addition to the merchandise and culinary stalls – both local and ethnic – there will also be an extensive entertainment program in collaboration with RSI Rete Tre with DJ sets and live gigs followed by the Silent Party hosted by Swisscom, which will close the evenings of the Festival. Moreover, there will be a more prominent involvement of the Festival's special guests, such as musician Abel Ferrara in 2016. 

Applications regarding exhibitors and vendors for laRotonda will be accepted until the 30th of April 2018. The complete program of the laRotonda will be announced during the month of July.
